Publications in Cognitive Psychology
People often ask me what I did in psychology. Below is my academic publications in cognitive psychology, as I was trained to be a professor doing research before I followed my heart to study music. Read the abstract, hopefully you'll get the idea. My favorite experiments are in the second article listed below. However, the article that is cited the most according to Google Scholar as of August 12, 2013 is actually the first article below. It is part of my dissertation work, which I feel quite proud of because my adviser said "It would never work!" when I first told him my idea. The fact that those experiments turned out to be as I expected, contrary to the predictions of some of my dissertation committee members, was the best part of my PhD journey.
